How do we define Community Leaders?

We use the term community leaders lightly, and encourage anyone who feels that they resonate with our cohort to join if you feel called. We recognize that leadership and care for our communities go beyond the our schools, clubs, and organizations. Whether you hold identities like an older sibling, care taker, or a creative, you are also a community leader and this program was made for you in mind.

Serving Folks ages: 18–30 in the Sacramento/NorCal Region.

Starting Fall of 2026 for once a week sessions for 6 Weeks.

Cohort Highlights

Meet your Facilitator

Shannon Deloso

I offer heart-centered, justice-rooted facilitation that bridges creativity, wellness, and critical reflection. Through collaborative, purpose-driven practices rooted in collective knowledge and community care, I support individuals and organizations in building sustainable lifestyles that center self-love, collective healing, and transformational growth.

I help my clients reconnect with their inner knowing, reclaim their voice, and live in alignment with their most authentic selves—bridging art, connection, and therapeutic practices to walk with purpose and build wholeness within themselves and their communities.

Meet your Facilitator

JJ Tintiangco

I’m a multidisciplinary healing artist, expressive arts guide, and facilitator who leads with creativity, care, and cultural intention. My work lives at the intersection of art, identity, and emotional healing. I like using color, creativity, and storytelling as tools for reflection and transformation.

As co-founder of The Art of Becoming, I design immersive spaces where people can reconnect with their voice, creativity, and inner knowing. Rooted in my background in ethnic studies, education, and social work, my facilitation blends therapeutic art practices with community care—centering joy, play, and radical self-love.

I believe art is not just something we make—it’s a way we come back to ourselves. My role is to hold space for that return.

Why We Built This Cohort

  • To redefine leadership as a practice of care, not performance.

We believe leadership isn’t about titles—it’s about how you show up for yourself and your community. This cohort offers space to lead from your values, not your exhaustion.

  • Because rest is strategy.

We created a space where slowing down is sacred, and honoring your limits is leadership. We want you to walk away with tools that don’t just help you survive, but sustain you.

  • To hold space we wish we had.

As Filipina creatives, educators, and caregivers, we’ve experienced burnout, isolation, and imposter syndrome. This space is designed to be the support system we didn’t always have—where your full self is welcome.

  • To remind you that you’re not alone.

Community work can feel heavy. This cohort offers a soft place to land—a circle of like-hearted folks who get it, and who will witness you without judgment.

  • To help you reconnect with your voice and vision.

Through expressive arts, reflection, and storytelling, we guide you back to what really matters: your truth, your purpose, your joy.

  • Because we need leaders who are rooted, not reactive.

Description goes heThis is a time for emotionally intelligent, grounded leadership. We help you cultivate clarity, boundaries, and rituals that support long-term impact—not quick fixes.

  • To make healing creative and accessible.

You don’t need to be an “artist” to join. This is about expression, not perfection. We use therapeutic art and somatic tools that support nervous system regulation and authentic self-expression.

  • To build a future where softness and strength coexist.

We’re dismantling the myth that you have to be hardened to lead. This is a space where emotional intelligence, tenderness, and accountability are leadership.

what feels unique or meaningful about AOB’s approach compared to other spaces or programs you’ve been part of?

we’re in a consistent flow throughout the program. from our meetings, being able to have the opportunity to have 1 on 1 meetings, being provided weekly check-in activities within our group chat. having the flexibility to communicate, i am the type of person that needs time to sit with everything. listen to my intuition and thoughts to fully understand myself and others.

2 hours goes by pretty fast! i believe that it has a good balance of understanding the purpose & lesson of the meeting, being able to go through the activity & practice with my other fellows, and after just taking the time to be in the present whether that is listening to music or meditating after.

i feel that aob’s approach compared to other spaces or programs you’ve been part of is meaningful through the actions of emotional support in creating a space that is safe to be vulnerable, honest, and encouragement to grow. i feel respected within the space and no judgment from anyone in the cohort, which provides me the care and warmth to safely open up during our open discussions.

why would you recommend this cohort to another student, young professional, or community leader?

i would highly recommend other students, young professionals, and community leaders to take this opportunity to join the leader in flow cohort because there aren’t enough spaces for us to take the time to sit down, be with ourselves, and reflect over your life and mental wellbeing as a whole.

if someone asked you what Leader in Flow is about, how would you describe it in your own words?

leader in flow: repairing my surfboard before going back into the ocean to catch that next beautiful wave.
